Valerie Utton has always been a writer. Through her own experience of self-publishing Letters of Apology: How to Stop Waiting for Permission to be the Wonderful Person You Are, she became acutely aware of the challenges and stigma anyone taking on a similar task faces. On one hand, there’s the learning curve associated with the business and process of self-publishing. On the other are the challenges of how to write a book if you aren’t a writer.
Since her own realization of this truth, Valerie has been educating and inspiring professionals, experts, and fiction writers with the knowledge that it’s easier than ever to get a quality book into print. She is a founding member of the Hartford Springfield Speakers Network, a group of professionals and experts involved in the business of speaking; and the go-to person for questions about the self-publishing process.
Valerie has a Masters in Education, lives in a small town in Western Massachusetts, and spends her days doing what she loves to do – helping people share their ideas and wisdom with the world via their books and various other print and online applications.
